LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 61 is an economical, light weight steel section. Being strong and rigid, the LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 61 section may be used for many applications as an alternative to light gauge purlins and girts of steel or timber. - High strength and light weight

Yes. However, specific fixing requirements need to be met. Is LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 61 available in custom cut lengths?
Yes but is generally sold as stock lengths of 7500mm. Why doesn't the LYSAGHT TOPSPAN profile need bridging?
The main reason for this is the specially engineered shape of the LYSAGHT TOPSPAN section. How far can LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 61 be cantilevered?
The size of the cantilever is 10% of the adjacent internal span, or 350mm, whichever is the lesser. Please note that the LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 61 must be one continuous length from internal span to the end of the cantilever.
