LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 120 is an improved light gauge purlin for use as a substitute for traditional purlin materials. The top hat shaped profile has web stiffening and top flange grooves to improve stiffness. - High strength and light weight

- Does not shrink, warp or twist
- Can be mounted on rafters or against columns without the use of cleats or bolts
- Qualifies as a termite resistant material under the Building Code of Australia
- Large spanning capabilities of up to 6m with no bridging required

How far can LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 120 be cantilevered?
The size of the cantilever is 10% of the adjacent internal span or 500mm whichever is the lesser. Please note that the LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 120 must be one continuous length from internal span to the end of the cantilever. Can LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 120 be used in cyclonic areas?
Yes. However, specific fixing requirements will need to be met. Is LYSAGHT TOPSPAN 120 available in custom cut lengths?
Yes, but generally it is sold as stock lengths of 7500mm.
