than some of the other hardwoods, with a straight grain and a moderately course

A large and very fast growing
hardwood found on the mid coast of NSW to the mid coast of QLD (It is also known
as Rose Gum).
Properties:
Flooded Gum has a Janka
rating (Kn) of 7.3, which measures the relative hardness of the timber. Flooded
Gum has a dry density of 750kg/m3 anda durability class rating of 3.

There is approximately 12.5 lineal metres to a m2 and can only be supplied in random lengths.
Australiana Grade is popular due to it's rich appearance accentuated by gum veins spirals shakes burs and marks left by forest insects ensuring that no two floors are ever the same. Australiana is an extremely durable type of timber grade flooring offering long lasting quality and a rustic appearance for less cost than select grade flooring.
