Cemintel Woodgrain Panel
has a mass of approximately 10kg/m2, and is available in 1175 x 2540 and 1175
x 2700mm sheets

Installation
Cemintel Woodgrain
Panel may be fixed to timber framing using 2.0 x 30mm galvanised nails or to
steel using No.8 x 20mm needlepoint screws. The sheets should be fixed vertically
and jointed with H-moulds.
Studs must be spaced at
up to 600mm centres. Fix sheets at 300mm centres in the body and at 200mm centres
at edges. When jointing off-stud, fix the sheet to a nogging at mid height.
Fasteners must be positioned a minimum of 12mm from sheet edges and 50mm from
sheet corners.
Cemintel Fibre Cement is
easily cut on site using a tungsten-tipped score and snap knife, a hand guillotine
or hand saw.

Cemintel Woodgrain
Panel is jointed using a PVC joint mould.
Woodgrain Panel is supplied
unpainted but can be easily finished with two coats of acrylic paint. The surface
must be clean and dry before application. In all cases the paint manufacturer's
instructions are to be followed. |
