Coverage Average approximate spread rate is 22-30m2 per 15 litre pail per coat but may vary dependent upon type required texture conditions and porosity of the substrate and application technique. 12-15m2 per 15 litre pail when applied by course textured roller.

Description MaxiFlex is a tough high performance extremely versatile high solids acrylic waterproofing decorative texture membrane providing excellent flexibility elasticity and durability in exposed conditions. A smooth or textured finish can be achieved. The flexibility of MaxiFlex makes it ideal for coating Hardiflex or other substrates subject to high movement.

Substrates Suitable for sound primed off-form concrete cement render fibre cement sheeting Harditex sheeting other concrete products and brick surfaces. Surface imperfections must be fixed prior to coating to achieve the desired finish. Substrates may have to be prepared with MaxiCrete.

Preparation Good preparation is essential. Surface must be clean dry sound and free of loose flaking friable matter and contaminants. Cracks must be filled with a suitable filler and finished flush with in accordance with good painting practice. A penetrating sealer may be required.

Priming Prime with MaxiPrime. Allow to dry for approximately 4 hours before topcoating.

Application Application should be carried out by a skilled Duramax approved applicator or persons well versed in applying this type of product. The acceptability of the surfaces is the responsibility of the applicator. Product must be well stirred before use. Apply by brush roller or spray. Maxiflex can also be used in conjunction with fibreglass reinforcing fabric to provide greater trafficability on horizontal surfaces.

Application Limits Ambient temperature: Min 10 - Max 35 deg C/ Surface temperature: Min 5 - Max 50 deg C. Do not apply if frost or rain is imminent before the product has dried.

Equipment Required Textured Roller roller or spray equipment and power stirrer.

Drying Times at 20 deg C - Touch dry 2-4 hours recoat - 6 hours
