Higgins Polyester Batts are hydrophobic, meaning they repel water, ensuring that the performance of the batts will be unaffected by accidental exposure to moisture. Polyester batts will not deteriorating or rot when correctly installed in typical of commercial or domestic structures.

Maximum Service Temperature
Maximum Service Temperature is 90 Degrees Celsius. Higgins Polyester Batts were developed to suit temperatures normally occurring in domestic or commercial buildings.

Ceiling Batt Applications

Higgins Polyester Ceiling Batts have been designed by Higgins Insulation to provide efficient thermal and acoustic to the home owner and to commercial projects, including project builders

Higgins Polyester Ceiling Batts have been designed to reduce noise heat and cold and to reduce energy costs by keeping heat out and keeping winter warmth in during winter. Correctly installed Polyester Batts will substantially decrease your air conditioning costs.

The Polyester Batts are supplied in two widths to suit standard domestic constructions:
1. 430mm wide to be placed between joists at .450mm centres.
2. 580mm wide to be placed between joists at .600mm centres

Wall Batt Applications
Higgins Polyester Wall Batts have been manufactured to specific thickness so that correct thermal and acoustic rating can be achieved without the insulation making contact with the external walls.
Higgins Polyester Wall Batts have been designed to reduce noise heat and cold and to reduce energy costs by keeping heat out and keeping winter warmth in during winter. Correctly installed Polyester Batts will substantially decrease your air conditioning costs. Polyester Wall Batts will also reduce noise entering the home through external walls and the transfer of noise between internal walls

The Batts can be stapled or taped into position so that ventilation of the wall cavity is maintained.
