Forklift deliveries
The forklift is a Manitou-Rough Terrain Telescopic Truck-Mounted machine.

Minimum Dimensions for fork lift access.

Width 3 meters
Height 2.6 meters
Weight 2.5 tonnes unladen
4.5 tonnes laden (maximum)
Reach 3.2 meters

Although the forklift is a rough terrain model there are limitations as to where the forklift will travel.
Site conditions and weather conditions are the two main obstacles in the way of fork deliveries.

At all times the operator will adhere to Federal, State, Local and Work Cover regulations.
Traffic control is the customer’s responsibility and is required on main roads and busy suburban streets.

The driver/operator has the responsibility to decide if a delivery can be unloaded where the customer requests. If for safety reasons, obstacles in the way, lack of space, no traffic control, weather conditions, or any other reason, the delivery cannot be unloaded our driver or our office will make all reasonable efforts to contact the customer.
If the customer is unable to be contacted the delivery will be unloaded in the nearest accessible area or returned to our yard at the customers expense.

All deliveries will be to the council kerbside, however if the customer requires a delivery to be placed inside a property this can be achieved if there is adequate access and the customer agrees to be responsible for all damage to private and public property. The customer must sign a disclaimer obtained from the driver or if the site will be unattended, from our office prior to the delivery taking place.

No deliveries will be made through a neighbouring property, public or private, without written permission from the property owner.

By law the driver is not permitted to lift over fences or onto elevated areas.
